Most Budget information is available for downloading (ie. copying on to your own computer) in two separate formats:
Portable Document Format (PDF)
Portable
document format, or PDF, is a document format created by Adobe
which is platform independent. To open, view and print PDF files,
you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is available free from
the Adobe Web site http://www.adobe.com.
Rich Text Format (RTF)
Rich
text format, or RTF, is a document format that can be opened, viewed
and printed using any PC-based word processing package.
Zipped Archives (ZIP)
When there is more than one part to a document, we have provided you with the option of being able to download all the publication parts via a single compressed file. To be able to open this achive of file, you will require a copy of WinZip which can be obtained from: http://www.winzip.com.
To download Budget files
Treasury provides Budget documents for download arranged in tables, so that you can quickly and easily locate the particular document you are after. To download your copy of a Budget document:
- Locate the document name and preferred format (see above).
- Click on the file-size text (eg. "120 KB") once.
- If you have a plug-in that enables PDF and/or RTF viewing directly in your browser, the document will appear within your browser. If you still prefer to save a separate copy, try right-clicking on the file-size text instead. Then select Save Target As ... or Save Link As ... and select the desired location on your hard drive to save (eg. C:\temp).
- If this plug-in is not present (or disabled) a dialog box should appear prompting you to save or open the document. Save your copy to your desired directory on your computer.
