Most Budget information is available for downloading (ie. copying on to your own computer) in two separate formats:

Portable Document Format (PDF)

PDF Icon Portable document format, or PDF, is a document format created by Adobe which is platform independent. To open, view and print PDF files, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is available free from the Adobe Web site http://www.adobe.com.

Zipped Archives (ZIP)

When there is more than one part to a document, we have provided you with the option of being able to download all the publication parts via a single compressed file. To be able to open this achive of file, you will require a copy of WinZip which can be obtained from: http://www.winzip.com.

To download Budget files

Treasury provides Budget documents for download arranged in tables, so that you can quickly and easily locate the particular document you are after. To download your copy of a Budget document:

  1. Locate the document name and preferred format (see above).
  2. Click on the file-size text (eg. “120 KB”) once.
  • If you have a plug-in that enables PDF and/or RTF viewing directly in your browser, the document will appear within your browser. If you still prefer to save a separate copy, try right-clicking on the file-size text instead. Then select Save Target As … or Save Link As … and select the desired location on your hard drive to save (eg. C:\temp).
  • If this plug-in is not present (or disabled) a dialog box should appear prompting you to save or open the document. Save your copy to your desired directory on your computer.

Changing the size of the text

If you would prefer to see larger or smaller text you may change your browser's default setting. The instructions for common web browsers are included below. For a web browser that is not listed, check your browser's help facility .

Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 5.x for Windows

  1. Click on the View menu
  2. Click on text size
  3. Select desired size

Netscape Navigator, version 4.x (Windows)

To increase text size

  1. Click on the View menu
  2. Click on Increase Font
  3. Keyboard shortcut: CTRL-]

To decrease text size

  1. Click on the View menu
  2. Click on Decrease Font
  3. Keyboard shortcut: CTRL-[
