The Government will provide funding in 2007-08 for the purchase of land in Darwin and $1.5 million to undertake a scoping study that would inform the Government’s decision on the construction of a Commonwealth Law Courts building. The expected cost of the acquisition of the land is unable to be disclosed as this could affect negotiations.
