The Government will provide $7.5 million over four years from 2008‑09 to upgrade secure communication and information sharing facilities for the Attorney‑General's Department. The measure includes $5.4 million in capital funding for hardware, software and physical security upgrades.
The cost of this measure will be met from within the existing resourcing of the Attorney‑General's Department.
